Understanding orders

Every time a customer completes checkout on your storefront, an order is created in your dashboard. Orders contain all the information about what was bought, who bought it, and how to fulfil it.

What's in an order

• Customer name, email, and phone number
• Shipping address
• Items ordered — name, variant (colour/size), quantity, and price
• Order total including shipping and any discount
• Payment method (COD or online)
• Order status and timestamps
• Cancellation reason (if cancelled)

Order flow

A typical order goes through: Pending → Confirmed → Processing → Shipped → Delivered. You update the status manually from your dashboard as you fulfil the order.
